The musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. The main characters are taken from “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Jack and the Beanstalk”, “Rapunzel”, “Cinderella”, and several others. The musical is tied together by a story involving a childless baker and his wife and their quest to begin a family, their interaction with a witch who has placed a curse on them and encounters with other storybook characters during their journey.

Produced with permission of Music Theatre International, Directed by Susan Kleit, Music Director David Loy, auditions will be Monday, December 7 and Tuesday, December 8 starting at 6:30 PM.  Online signups for auditions are here and elsewhere on social media. Auditioners should be prepared to sing 32 measures of a song (not from the show) that showcases their vocal range with or without sheet music and read cold sides. All genders, ages and cultural backgrounds are welcome.

Performances are Fridays March 5 & 12 @ 8PM, Saturdays & Sundays March 6,7, 13 & 14 @ 3PM.
