D. Gene Wilburn owns a fishing lodge that has fallen on hard times. While he tries to recruit an investor, Roxanne, to fix up the property, he has to navigate through an unsatisfied wife, Wanelle, a snarky sister, Maxie, who has rejoined the police force to protect a snitch, Deluca, who is in witness protection, his son, Ty, an actor, and his girlfriend, Jenna, his son's boss, Lola, who has an attraction for him, and the boss's husband, Sonny, a mob leader who just got out of jail. Throw in a bunch of wild animals, and hilarity ensues.
