SUMMARY:Rocky Horror Pride Show AUDITIONS
DESCRIPTION:Rocky Horror Act\, in conjunction with the Potomac Playmakers\, will be hosting the Rocky Horror Pride Show on Saturday\, June 25th!\nAuditions for this shadow cast production will be held Friday\, March 25th and Saturday\, March 26th from 5-9 pm at the Potomac Playmakers Performing Arts Center (17303 W. Washington Street in Hagerstown).\n\n\nAuditions will be staggered\, so feel free to arrive at any point during those time slots. Auditions will consist of a lip sync number of your choosing\, a simple line read\, and an easy dance audition. You must be 18 years of age or older to audition for this production due to mature content.\n\n\nThis cast will largely be gender-swapped as a fun way to celebrate pride this season. As our actors’ safety and comfort is our top priority\, non-binary actors are encouraged to audition for any character(s) they’re interested in. You can also talk to the director\, Ellie\, one-on-one about this if you want to.\n\n\nOnce casted\, actors should expect to rehearse at least once a week up until we start tech rehearsals. Actors will also be expected to fund/provide their own costumes\, but we will be certain to assist you in that process as much as possible if needed.\n\n\nWE WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTING VIDEO AUDITIONS! We know this is short notice so if you’re unable to join us for in-person auditions\, video submissions can be emailed to elliecoode96@gmail.com anytime between now and the end of the day on Sunday\, March 27th.\n\n\n**To audition or be involved with this production you must show proof of vaccination at the time of audition.
