As the Nation became totally involved in the War, many restrictions were imposed upon its citizens. Travel, materials, and manpower were scarce items. The production of plays paled in the light of the struggle to preserve our very way of life. Accordingly, the Board of Directors scheduled a season of only two productions. Following the first, it became apparent that all operations should be suspended for the balance of the season. The first play was selected primarily due to the need for only one man in the cast.
